Lightweight and compact AMTs achieved

Combining motors, which provide the power source, with clutches enables gear-shift operations and selection operations to be performed with a single motor. The use of a motorized gearshift control consisting of one motor and one clutch reduces weight by 50% and space by 60% over conventional power shift controls to provide a lightweight and compact unit.

One Motor, One Clutch

Conventional power shift control systems used two coaters or three solenoids for selection purposes. KSK developed a control system that provides all functions with a single motor.
