KSK is convinced that coming into contact with people in regional areas is beneficial for the company, and we have therefore adopted a wide range of regional contribution activities. A few of these are introduced below.
Eco Cap Collection Activities
This involves collecting used caps from empty PET bottles for the purpose of contributing to local welfare projects for purchasing wheelchairs, etc., for the disabled via “Zeni Banks” (centers for collecting and redistributing charitable contributions).
Eco Keeper Activities
This involves employees and their families taking part in the “Stop Global Warming Action” program initiated by local authorities in order to contribute to reductions in CO2.
Vehicles Donated to Related Governmental Organizations
Hybrid cars have been donated to related government organizations in Kanuma city, Tochigi Prefecture (2010), and Iwamizawa City, Hokkaido (2011), where our business offices are located. In the hope that they will prove useful in preventing global warming.
News Bulletin Boards Donated to Local Elementary and Junior High Schools
News bulletin boards have been donated to elementary and junior high schools located nearby our business offices in the hope that they will stimulate an interest in preventing global warming among children, who will be entrusted with our future.
We make ourselves useful for the children who will take charge of the future by donating the revenue we make from stall sales at summer festivals to the cities in which our factories are located.
